196 km/h on QEW: Speeders caught ‘stunt driving’ on Hamilton highways
Provincial police charged two men with “stunt driving” for extreme speeding on Hamilton-area highways this week.
Ontario Provincial Police stopped a westbound vehicle Sunday afternoon that was travelling 155 km/h on Highway 403 near Copetown. An 18-year-old Brantford man was charged.
Early Monday morning police stopped and charged a 32-year-old Hamilton man driving 196 km/h on the Queen Elizabeth Way near the Burlington skyway.
Both men had their vehicles seized and licences immediately suspended for seven days.
