Canada in lacrosse fi­nal

Jeff Teat had four goals and two as­sists as Canada beat the Iro­quois Na­tion­als 14-11 on Thurs­day to earn a spot in the un­der-19 field lacrosse world cham­pi­onships.

Ryan Lanch­bury, Tre­ton Le­claire and Ry­lan Rees each had a pair of goals for the Cana­di­ans, who will face the United States in the fi­nal on Satur­day.

Canada also got goals from Ri­ley Cur­tis, Ethan Walker, Tan­ner Cook and Thomas Sem­ple. Kyle He­bert stopped 16-of-27 shots for the win.

Te­hoka Nan­ti­coke paced the Iro­quois Na­tion­als with four goals. Austin Stats scored twice while Sekawnee Baker, Skye Sun­day, Doug Jamieson, Devon Buck­shot and Mitch Laf­fin had the oth­ers.

In the other semi­fi­nal, the U.S. beat Aus­tralia 23-1.
