Bring your pet for free vet­eri­nary ad­vice at St. Matthew’s House

Low in­come res­i­dents have a chance to get some free food and ad­vice for their furry com­pan­ions.

The Pet Food Pantry takes place Tues­day at St. Matthew’s House, 414 Bar­ton St. E., start­ing at 8:30 a.m.

Low-in­come res­i­dents from Hamil­ton are wel­come to bring their cats and dogs. Pet own­ers will re­ceive a com­pli­men­tary bag of Pu­rina Es­sen­tial Care food, pet pedi­cures (if they bring their pet), and a chance to talk to lo­cal vet­eri­nary teams. The event is of­fered by As­so­ciate Vet­eri­nary Clin­ics. The Pet Food Pantry has pro­vided half a mil­lion meals to pets in need since 2014.
