Third man charged in bar­ber­shop killing

Hamil­ton police have charged a third man in con­nec­tion with the killing of Neil Har­ris at his Moun­tain barber shop.

Har­ris was shot at his shop at 600 Up­per Welling­ton St., near Fen­nell Av­enue East, on Feb. 18.

Police an­nounced on Wed­nes­day that Erick Reid, 25, and Odain Gard­ner, 23, had been charged with first-de­gree mur­der.

On Thurs­day, they an­nounced Ty­rone Abra­hams, 26, of Hamil­ton, had been charged with two counts of ac­ces­sory after the fact to mur­der, pos­ses­sion of a loaded pro­hib­ited firearm, four counts each of pos­sess­ing a firearm while pro­hib­ited and fail­ing to com­ply with pro­ba­tion. He was ar­rested Wed­nes­day af­ter­noon.
