Woman robbed at knife­point by masked in­trud­ers in east-end home

Po­lice are search­ing for two men af­ter in­trud­ers forced a woman at knife­point to open a locked bed­room closet in her east-Hamil­ton home be­fore steal­ing her purse.

The woman was ex­pect­ing com­pany when she an­swered the front door of her home just be­fore 10:45 a.m. Wednes­day, po­lice said. “She was forced back in­side by two males armed with knives,” a po­lice news re­lease said Thurs­day.

Po­lice can­vassed the area around Eaton Place, which is north of Queen­ston Road and east of Reid Av­enue North near Roxbor­ough Park, but couldn’t find the two.

One is de­scribed as white with an olive com­plex­ion. He’s five-foot-four, has an av­er­age build and brown eyes. He was wearing a black hoodie and beige cloth cov­er­ing his face.

The sec­ond is also white with a fair com­plex­ion, about five-foot-nine with a thin build. His face was also cov­ered.
