Woman robbed at knifepoint by masked intruders in east-end home
Police are searching for two men after intruders forced a woman at knifepoint to open a locked bedroom closet in her east-Hamilton home before stealing her purse.
The woman was expecting company when she answered the front door of her home just before 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, police said. “She was forced back inside by two males armed with knives,” a police news release said Thursday.
Police canvassed the area around Eaton Place, which is north of Queenston Road and east of Reid Avenue North near Roxborough Park, but couldn’t find the two.
One is described as white with an olive complexion. He’s five-foot-four, has an average build and brown eyes. He was wearing a black hoodie and beige cloth covering his face.
The second is also white with a fair complexion, about five-foot-nine with a thin build. His face was also covered.
