We need law and order

RE: Hamilton police officer investigated over anti-Muslim posts (July 20)

Has the bleeding heart Liberal government of Canada adopted the ways of the Obama/Clinton Liberals in the United States. We now investigate our police officers for doing their duty. This officer had simple questions about something and did his duty. Had this person not been speeding, there wouldn’t have been any interaction at all. And because this person was angry over being stopped, and perceived some slight, he then played the race card. This has become annoying. People beg to come to Canada but have no respect for its laws or people. We give constables a badge and a pistol, and tell them to keep the peace and uphold the laws of the country, which cannot be easy as our country has changed so much, so fast. I am the last person who wants to live in a police state, but without law and order in this country, we would be no better than the one this man fled. Anthony Crawford, Hamilton
