Conversation held about LGBTQ needs
Some members of Hamilton’s LGBTQ+ communities came together Saturday to connect about their needs, what changes ought to take place in the city and how to ensure all voices are heard.
A community conversation was held at the Hamilton Centre for Civic Inclusion that saw more than 30 people attend.
A meeting is expected to be held next month where a board will be nominated to help facilitate research driven by diverse populations within LGBTQ+ communities, said Marlon Picken, who helped organize the discussion.
