Dundas doctor facing more sex assault charges
A Dundas doctor accused of sexually assaulting patients is facing new charges after more alleged victims came forward to police.
Dr. Pierre Picard was arrested again last Tuesday and now faces five new charges related to three alleged new victims.
The women reported being sexually assaulted between 2015 and 2016. Hamilton police said they came forward after two previous news reports about other alleged victims.
The 48-year-old now faces a total of 12 charges of sexual assault, related to eight alleged victims — all female patients.
Police continue to believe there may be more victims. Anyone with information is asked to call Det. Carolyne Rashford of the Sexual Assault Unit at 905-540-5543.
