Lion

The Hamilton Spectator - - OUR PULSE -

EVELYN MCLEOD, GRADE 10

I am the whisper telling you to scroll a little longer. Just a few minutes more, at 10:00 p.m. on a Saturday night on Instagram

I am the piano that is out of tune, the constellation that is slightly off course and hard to find.

I am a pink grapefruit sweet and sour, or a 2002 Ford Focus, small but powerful.

I am a thunderstorm, beautiful and terrifying.

I seem the ugly duckling but mess with me. I dare you to. You will see that you have poked a Lion: Strong, proud and powerful!
