A Spork

The Hamilton Spectator - - OUR PULSE -

TERENCE LY, GRADE 10

I am a cool Saturday afternoon. No obligations, no worries.

A pond, separated from the ocean, distinct in where I am.

I am Uranus, spinning differently than the others, but still a planet.

I am the small Renaissance village, with a classical melody beautifully filling the early morning air. I am a Civic, reliable and efficient though not what people look for nowadays.

In a world of spoons, I am a spork, versatile, but too quirky to use.
