Thank you, Mr. Dreschel for bringing this to light. As Hamilton citizens struggle with high property tax rates and more, it makes my jaw drop as I read about this blatant abuse of seniority. There was probably $1 million worth of salary riding in that City vehicle. I’ve seen, in my lifetime, employees who have overstayed their welcome taking high salaries and assuming privileges by default. Perhaps, they feel that their good deeds from the past will somehow shield them from any wrongdoing in the future.
I don’t care how wonderful everyone thinks Ms Priel and the others are. It is not their money to spend. Lucio Palazzo, Hamilton
