Bigger and better

The Hamilton Spectator - - WHEELS - Doug Sullivan, President Canadian International AutoShow Board of Directors

The bar has been set pretty high. Last year was a highlight year for the Canadian International AutoShow. Over the course of the show, we hosted 320,000 patrons and nearly 1,400 media — in both cases setting record attendances.

Last year cemented our status not only as Canada’s largest auto show, but also as having a larger media and promotional footprint than all other auto shows in Canada combined.

We remain the largest consumer show in the country, and no other Canadian show attracts more women than does the Canadian International AutoShow.

But even with all of that, we are planning a 2017 AutoShow that is bigger and better, and it will be all about Canada. To help Canada celebrate its 150th birthday, we have lined up a series of features that will put a unique lens on Canada and its history and passion for the automobile.

The world’s leading auto manufacturers will once again be bringing their latest and greatest to Toronto for 10 days in February, putting more than 1,000 new cars and trucks under the spotlights of the Metro Toronto Convention Centre with every Canadian retailer represented within the show.

Tickets are now on sale at autoshow.ca/tickets, including the return of the popular Super Tuesday, with tickets available for only $12. In addition, even deeper discounted tickets have been made available to our retailers and manufacturers to allow them to reach out to as wide an audience as possible and help spread the excitement of the AutoShow.

I am excited and honoured to be part of this great industry, and can’t wait to see you all at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre in February. Doug Sullivan
