How about those tax returns, Donald?

RE: Trump’s presidency

The Hamilton Spectator - - OPINION -

“Many people” (popular Trumpism phrase that often indicates the onset of an “alternative fact”/rumour) are wondering why the new U.S. president is rushing so many executive orders (pretty much based on the controversial and often offensive campaign promises made to his large, but not largest, fan base). Isn’t it obvious? The sooner he finishes with the yucky president-y stuff like fixing the entire messy world (with one hand tied behind his back), cleaning up the catastrophes, diffusing the disasters and undumbing the dumb deals, (along with alienating allies, infuriating adversaries, blaming President Obama for everything and anything and debasing just about every minority on earth), the sooner he can focus “bigly” on what he really cares about — his businesses.

Isn’t it ironic, and a little fishy, that the only campaign promise he doesn’t seem interested in rushing is the release of his taxes? Come on America — wake up! Paula Kent Kuchmey, Caledonia
