Leaders with local sports and rec organizations can attend upcoming community workshops to help form recommendations. Firearm discharge bylaw updates
The city is updating the areas of the city where guns can be fired. Find out more at the public meetings. Maple syrup festival
Westfield Heritage Village’s Maple Syrup Festival starts the weekend of March 5. The festival runs Sundays from March 5 to 26, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with weekday events on the 15th and 16th during March Break. The village is at 1049 Kirkwall Rd., Rockton. Hamilton Conservation Authority members get in free; non-member entry is $11 for adults, $6.50 for kids and $10 for seniors.
