THEIR CHANCE TO DANCE
DANCE, DRAWING, MUSIC AND THE SPOKEN WORD were the topics of instruction during a day-long workshop at the Hamilton Conservatory of the Arts for 100 Grade 7 and 8 students. Here, Asheika Brown, centre, and her group rehearse their steps.

The theme was for students to examine Hamilton’s Charter of Rights of Children and Youth. Solan Hackett, a Grade 8 student at Sir Wilfrid Laurier, works on his art.
