Fen­tanyl among $10,000 in drugs seized, af­ter man, woman ar­rested in po­lice raid

Two Hamil­to­ni­ans are fac­ing traf­fick­ing charges af­ter $10,000 worth of fen­tanyl, co­caine, magic mush­rooms and other drugs were found in an Ottawa Street North res­i­dence.

De­tec­tives from the vice and drugs unit ob­tained a search war­rant for 468 Ottawa St. N. — where they sus­pected traf­fick­ing was tak­ing place — and ar­rived at the man and woman’s prop­erty about 5:30 a.m. Wed­nes­day.

Once there, po­lice ar­rested two peo­ple, who are now fac­ing sev­eral drug-re­lated charges.

Kyle Wo­jcz­iuk, 26, and Me­gan Bel­bin, 22, are both charged with posses­sion of fen­tanyl, metham­phetamine, co­caine, mar­i­juana, magic mush­rooms and methadone for the pur­pose of traf­fick­ing, pro­duc­tion of cannabis resin and pro­ceeds of crime un­der $5,000.

They were de­nied bail.
