Fentanyl among $10,000 in drugs seized, after man, woman arrested in police raid
Two Hamiltonians are facing trafficking charges after $10,000 worth of fentanyl, cocaine, magic mushrooms and other drugs were found in an Ottawa Street North residence.
Detectives from the vice and drugs unit obtained a search warrant for 468 Ottawa St. N. — where they suspected trafficking was taking place — and arrived at the man and woman’s property about 5:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Once there, police arrested two people, who are now facing several drug-related charges.
Kyle Wojcziuk, 26, and Megan Belbin, 22, are both charged with possession of fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine, marijuana, magic mushrooms and methadone for the purpose of trafficking, production of cannabis resin and proceeds of crime under $5,000.
They were denied bail.
