A WEEKEND FOR THE RECORD BOOKS

-

It looked more like spring down by the bay Saturday as unusually warm temperatures drew people to the water. Family Day weekend smashed weather records. The mercury soared to 13 C Saturday, shattering the previous record high of 9.7 C in 1981. Sunday’s high of 13 C beat the 1984 record of 12 C. Monday cooled down to 4 C, but forecasts call for a high of 11 C Tuesday, with some rain, and a high of 14 C Wednesday with a mix of sun and cloud. The average high for this time of year is around -1 C.
