BLESSED SACRA­MENT BAS­KET­BALL Ban­tam — Lorenzo Sali­nas scored two of his 20 points with 10 sec­onds left in lead­ing Al­fredo’s Pizza Celtics to a 43-42 vic­tory over La Bak­eri Lak­ers as they claimed the Blessed Sacra­ment Bas­ket­ball Ban­tam Boys House League Cham­pi­onship. The Lak­ers trailed by 15 points at the half but stormed back in the sec­ond half to take a 42-41 lead with 30 sec­onds left be­fore Sali­nas re­gained the lead for the Celtics. Dayvon Stan­bury tossed in 28 points for the Lak­ers. The Bronze medal game was a nail biter as the lead changed hands a num­ber of times in the last 3 min­utes of play with Triple F Paving Pis­tons tak­ing the win with a 41-40 score over Aran Awards Spurs. Myles Robin­son with 16 points and Dim­itri Duffield with 13 points led the scor­ing for the Pis­tons while Jeremie Masian­doki replied with 10 points for the Spurs. In semi­fi­nal ac­tion, the Celtics took a big lead then held off the Spurs in ad­vanc­ing with a 35-29 vic­tory. O’Neil Khashaba pumped in 10 points for the Celtics while Eric Chale­un­souk also scored ten for the Spurs. In the other semi, Brian Es­time threw in 10 points for the Lak­ers as they outscored the Pis­tons 38—23. Joseph San­tarino led the Pis­tons with 11 points.
