The Flam­bor­ough Fal­cons atom se­lect girls hockey team struck gold by win­ning the cham­pi­onship at the 2017 Orangeville Win­ter Clas­sic Tour­na­ment.

The Fal­cons started the tour­na­ment by plac­ing first place in their pool with an un­de­feated record and dur­ing the play­off round, the girls con­tin­ued their strong per­for­mance by win­ning con­sec­u­tive games to claim the cham­pi­onship among com­pet­i­tive teams across On­tario, capped by a over­time vic­tory.
