Police seize drugs, cash and car at two homes
Two Hamilton men are facing drug charges following a three-week Halton police investigation into crack cocaine trafficking.
On Wednesday, police executed two search warrants at residences in Stoney Creek and Hamilton, seizing drugs, cash and a car. They also arrested two men. Halton police said the estimated street value of the drugs seized is $1,540 and includes 12.2 grams of crack cocaine, 45 Percocets and 14 grams of marijuana. Police also seized $1,140 in cash and a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix.
Jonathan Hellam, 28, of Stoney Creek, is charged with two counts of possession of crack cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of Percocets for the purpose of trafficking and possession of marijuana.
John McKenna, 33, of Hamilton, is charged with possession of crack cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and two counts of breaching probation.
