Truer words never spoken
RE: The soup guy (Feb. 22)
After being bombarded with reports of horrendous happenings the world over (not to mention the daily Trump lies and fear-mongering), what a day-brightener to read Kelly Noseworthy’s delightful piece on Roger Boyd. If ever a reward was given for the biggest heart in these parts, it would go to him.
I know there are many local groups and organizations who are volunteering their time to help the less fortunate among us, but he has done more in so many ways, completely on his own, and all this while still holding down a full-time job.
Kudos to the priest at Flamborough Baptist Church and his thought-provoking message: “Find your ministry by showing love.” Truer words were never spoken. Virginia Coombs, Stoney Creek
