Waiting for the next plane crash

Re: Stop allowing the anti-Trump tirades (Letter, Feb. 23)

Journalists don’t write stories on planes that land safely. They only write when a plane crashes. Those fed up with the media’s reporting of Donald Trump need to understand this is why Trump is dominating the news. He has caused unprecedented chaos and been a lightning rod for controversy.

Members of his own party have turned against him, and thousands are protesting against him.

Journalists are merely reflecting the carnage Trump has caused. That those same antics have prompted people to write letters criticizing Trump is not surprising. As it is, we’re all waiting for the next plane crash. Denise Davy, Burlington
