Narcotics stolen during pharmacy robbery
Hamilton police are investigating a pharmacy robbery where a man stole narcotics.
Police were called to the Lo Presti Pharmacy at 770 Concession St., at the corner with East 31st Street, shortly before 5:30 p.m. Friday for the robbery.
It’s believed a man wearing dark clothing, with his face covered, entered the pharmacy, demanded narcotics and then fled with an undisclosed amount of drugs.
Police, including the K-9 Unit, searched the area, but the suspect had escaped. He is described as a white male with a medium build, and is approximately five-foot-seven. Police warn the public that consuming any type of narcotic that is not prescribed can be harmful and even deadly. Anyone with information is asked to call BEAR unit Staff Sgt.
