Hamilton woman dies after being struck at Union Station
A 32-year-old Hamilton woman is dead after being struck by a GO Transit bus in Toronto, police confirm.
“She was running beside the bus, it’s not clear why yet, when she was struck and then dragged up the road,” said Toronto police Const. Craig Brister. She died in hospital, he said. The collision happened at the GO bus terminal at Toronto’s Union Station around 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
The scene was blocked off for several hours for the collision reconstruction unit investigation. It reopened late Sunday night.
