Rec centre closure
The Stoney Creek Recreation Centre will close for renovations on June 13. The work — which will include routine maintenance, painting and warranty work on the HVAC heating and cooling control system — is expected to wrap up by fall. In the meantime, residents are asked to make use of neighbouring rec centres. For a full list, visit hamilton.ca/recreation.
