Glam­our in the Ham­mer fundraiser May 5

The third an­nual Glam­our in the Ham­mer fundraiser to bat­tle poverty in Hamil­ton will be held Fri­day, May 5 and fea­ture 10 lo­cal fash­ion de­sign­ers and 10 of the city’s chefs and restau­rants.

The de­sign­ers in­clude Black­bird Stu­dios, DeMon­tigny, Ter­raware Earthaware and Ve­sp­i­dame.

There will also be tasty treats from Baci Ris­torante, Car­men’s Group, Cavallo Nero, Rap­scal­lion, and Two Black Sheep.

The event will also cel­e­brate fash­ion icon Milli Gould.

It’s all hap­pen­ing at the Hamil­ton Con­ven­tion Cen­tre, 1 Sum­mer’s Lane. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with food and drinks served at 6 p.m. and the fash­ion show start­ing at 8.

Tick­ets are $75 and in­clude the fash­ion show, food sam­pling, one bar drink and park­ing. All pro­ceeds ben­e­fit Good Shep­herd’s bat­tle against poverty.
