WE ALL BELONG
Individually, the works of art are small — the size of a postcard, in fact. But collectively, the public school board student creations make a big statement in the Education Centre. There are more than 1,200 of them.
A display of more than 1,200 pieces of art by Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board students fills the lobby of the board office on Education Court on the south Mountain. The postcard-sized works of art cover all grades through elementary to high school, and run the gamut of media — drawings, paintings, photographs and mixed media. A reception will be held on Tuesday from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.; as well, the public can drop by during regular business hours in May to view the artwork.
