I can­not for the life of me com­pre­hend how peo­ple are tied to their elec­tronic leashes and fear that they will be with­out the use of it for a few hours. As I re­call a man named Guten­berg in­vented a de­vice that printed words for peo­ple to read.

There are op­tions in life to all forms of in­con­ve­nience and in this case the fear of be­ing with­out elec­tronic stim­u­lus for a few hours can be over­come with an old standby called “a book” — but that re­quires and abil­ity to read. Peter Sch­mocker, Beamsville
