Restored 1906 train station to open July 1
Burlington’s Freeman Station will host its official ribbon cutting and dedication ceremony Saturday, July 1 beginning at 10:45 a.m. The station will then be open for visitors to view the restoration progress between 11:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.
The historic 1906 railway station is being restored and managed by volunteers with the non-profit Friends of Freeman Station. Work on the building and surrounding site began in 2014.
