Three charged in drug bust

Three peo­ple are fac­ing charges af­ter po­lice seized drugs, cash and a knife at two Hamil­ton houses.

Po­lice ex­e­cuted search war­rants at 385 Rosseau Rd., near Lawrence Road and Park­dale Av­enue South, and 23 Colo­nial Ct., near King Street East and Nash Road South, on Fri­day. Po­lice say they seized about $35,000 worth of drugs.

At the Rosseau ad­dress, po­lice found two grams of co­caine, resin, a spring-loaded knife and $1,350 cash.

On Colo­nial, po­lice found 319.5 grams of co­caine, 15 oxy­codone pills, 9.87 grams of meth, 7.5 grams of mar­i­juana and $1,080 cash.

David Bright, 31, of Hamil­ton is charged with pos­ses­sion of co­caine, pos­ses­sion of resin for the pur­pose of traf­fick­ing, pro­duc­tion of resin, pro­ceeds of crime un­der $5,000, and pos­ses­sion of a pro­hib­ited weapon.

Mathew Shed­den, 30, of Hamil­ton is charged with two counts of pos­ses­sion of co­caine for the pur­pose of traf­fick­ing, pos­ses­sion of oxy­codone for the pur­pose of traf­fick­ing, pos­ses­sion of mar­i­juana, pos­ses­sion of meth, and pro­ceeds of crime un­der $5,000.

Krystyna Brown, 28, of Hamil­ton is charged with pos­ses­sion of co­caine for the pur­pose of traf­fick­ing, pos­ses­sion of oxy­codone for the pur­pose of traf­fick­ing, pos­ses­sion of mar­i­juana, and pos­ses­sion of meth.
