Thou­sands turned out to view the 11 tall ships along Pier 8 on the week­end. The ships were on view from June 30 to July 2. Many of the spec­ta­tors took tours of the ships. Har­bour cruises were also of­fered in­clud­ing an evening fire­works cruise Satur­day night. Tall ships sailed into the Hamil­ton Har­bour for the Canada Day week­end, de­light­ing the as­sem­bled crowds. Spec­ta­tor pho­tog­ra­pher Gary Yokoyama cap­tured the ships as they sailed into and around the har­bour. Schooner Em­pire Sandy, above, and top­sail Schooner Wyld Swan pass each other.
