Nique does brunch Be­cause Beer is back Citrusy cider

One of the James Street North area’s favourite culi­nary hotspots is now serv­ing Sun­day brunch. Menu items in­clude $5 mi­mosas as well as Smoked Brisket Bene­dict, Chicken and Waf­fles, the Gravlax Plat­ter and Dutch Baby Pan­cakes. Brunch is of­fered Sun­days from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. 30 Vine St., 905-5298000 Hamil­ton’s premier craft beer fes­ti­val re­turns to Pier 4 on the week­end of July 14 and 15, with more than 30 brew­eries and cideries pour­ing their hearts out. Lo­cal food trucks in­clude Curb­side Burger, 50 Pe­sos, Go­rilla Cheese, Meatven­tures, Re­lay Coffee Roast­ers. Mu­si­cal head­lin­ers are Sloan (Fri­day) and Said the Whale (Satur­day). be­cause­­ets Col­lec­tive Arts Brew­ing has just launched its Ju­niper Lemon Cider, a blend of lo­cal ap­ples, in­fused with lemon peel and ju­niper berries, and is gluten free.
