Sus­pects sought in stolen ve­hi­cle col­li­sions in Burling­ton

Hal­ton po­lice are search­ing for the in­di­vid­u­als in­volved in an al­leged stolen ve­hi­cle strik­ing sev­eral ve­hi­cles in Burling­ton late Wed­nes­day af­ter­noon.

At ap­prox­i­mately 5 p.m., near Plains Road West and Spring Gar­dens Road, a 2011 black Chevro­let Sil­ver­ado, with P.E.I. li­cence plate C3804, was seen side-swip­ing three ve­hi­cles as it was headed east­bound on Plains, ac­cord­ing to po­lice. There were no in­juries re­ported. While po­lice have not iden­ti­fied any sus­pects yet, the driver of the black pickup truck is de­scribed as a white male, be­tween 20-30 years old, with black hair and wear­ing sun­glasses. There was no de­scrip­tion for the pas­sen­ger. The in­ves­ti­ga­tion is on­go­ing.
