All aboard the art studio bus

The Hamilton Spectator - - A&E -

The Hamilton Arts council is inviting you to hop on board the art bus for a sneak peek at the city’s cutting-edge art scene.

The Arts Council, in partnership with The Seedworks Urban Offices and The Cotton Factory, is launching a monthly tour of the studios of Hamilton’s emerging and established artists.

Each tour will give participants a behind-the-scenes look at four different artists’ studios, allowing visitors to experience the artist at work, ask questions, and engage in their artistic process. Each tour will feature a ‘Special Guest Tour Guide’ to lead the tour.

The tour, sponsored by Attridge Transportation Inc., is a reboot of the popular Art Bus Tours organized Hamilton artist Barbara Milne. Milne will act as the Special Guest Tour Guide for the kickoff tour in August. The first tour will take place Aug. 19, from 1 to 4 p.m. Tickets are $20 and available on Eventbrite.

The tour leaves from the Seedworks Urban Offices at 126 Catherine St. N.
