Bugatti Chiron’s top speed: The limited-edition 1,480-horsepower replacement for the Bugatti Veyron ultra-luxury sports car is capable of 280-plus mph (450 km/h), but Bugatti has electronically limited the Chiron’s maximum velocity to 261 (418 km/h). The reason? Apparently no company currently makes a tire that can handle faster speeds, however Michelin reports it will have one ready for 2018.
