Home De­pot sup­ports youth at Wes­ley Ur­ban Min­istries

Home De­pot at 350 Cen­ten­nial Pkwy. N. raised $9,664 for Wes­ley Ur­ban Min­istries through its Orange Door Project fundrais­ing cam­paign to pre­vent and end youth home­less­ness.

Be­tween June 1 and July 2, cus­tomers do­nated $2 in ex­change for pa­per orange doors.

The money will be used to pro­vide hous­ing, one-onone sup­port, recre­ational ac­tiv­i­ties and life-skills train­ing to youth liv­ing at Wes­ley Youth Hous­ing. All 182 Home De­pot stores in Canada took part, rais­ing $1.3 mil­lion for shel­ters, drop-in cen­tres and or­ga­ni­za­tions.
