Home Depot supports youth at Wesley Urban Ministries
Home Depot at 350 Centennial Pkwy. N. raised $9,664 for Wesley Urban Ministries through its Orange Door Project fundraising campaign to prevent and end youth homelessness.
Between June 1 and July 2, customers donated $2 in exchange for paper orange doors.
The money will be used to provide housing, one-onone support, recreational activities and life-skills training to youth living at Wesley Youth Housing. All 182 Home Depot stores in Canada took part, raising $1.3 million for shelters, drop-in centres and organizations.
