Hit them in the wallets

RE: Waterfall safety

Mount Albion Falls has been a place for families and kids over many years. Also at one time they had small barbecues for families to enjoy.

Now it’s a sideshow just like everything our city council puts forward. Let’s see … the Gore Park fiasco in the ’80s, Tim Hortons Field with the ongoing problems, and now LRT, which is a joke.

Why does this council pussyfoot around with the problems at Albion Falls? The only solution is to hit these people where it hurts — in the wallet. If they believe they should be allowed to ignore signs, as they probably do when driving, give them (the) maximum fine. And if they fall in where they need the fire department and EMS, they should pay for the services.

Oh, they just won’t pay. Then to court they go, and maybe if they have to do a little time in jail, let’s see how they enjoy the experience. The “I am entitled” people are getting to be a bit much these days.
