Four en­cores from the Fringe

The Stair­case The­atre is host­ing four encore per­for­mances from the Hamil­ton Fringe Fes­ti­val this week­end.

The four pro­duc­tions are four of the favourites from this sum­mer’s Fringe, which closed Sun­day af­ter an 11-day run at sev­eral venues through­out Hamil­ton’s down­town.

On Satur­day, Aug. 5, “The Ele­phant Girls” will be fea­tured at 7 p.m., fol­lowed by “This Is Not A Mu­si­cal: The Mu­si­cal” at 9 p.m. “The Ele­phant Girls,” fea­tur­ing Margo MacDonald and Mary El­lis, re­ceived the Hamil­ton Fringe 2017 Crit­ics Choice Award, while “This Is Not A Mu­si­cal: The Mu­si­cal,” cre­ated by Maxie Liber­man, won the 2017 Best of Fringe award.

On Sun­day, Aug. 6, the Stair­case will host “Your Own Sons,” writ­ten by Stephen Near, at 6 p.m., and “The Lost Years,” writ­ten by Peter Gruner, at 8 p.m.

Tick­ets are $15 each show, $10 for stu­dents. The Stair­case is lo­cated at 27 Dun­durn St. N., 905-529-3000.
