Pub­lic money has been fund­ing Catholic ed­u­ca­tion since 1867 with­out ever be­ing “bla­tantly dis­crim­i­na­tory.” Our prop­erty tax al­lot­ment pro­vides all own­ers with the demo­cratic choice to sup­port ei­ther the pub­lic or sep­a­rate school sys­tem. In­deed, as more and more non-Catholic stu­dents opt for the sep­a­rate school sys­tem per­haps therein lies the an­swer. Ri­cardo Di Cecca, Burling­ton
