Thornhill man, 24, pulled from lake dies
Hamilton police say the man who died after he was pulled without vital signs from Gulliver’s Lake in Flamborough Tuesday was a 24-year-old from Thornhill.
He was taking part in a workplace gathering when he was seen outside of the marked swimming area, police said.
“Co-workers later noticed the victim was missing and found him underwater at which time he was removed and CPR was performed.”
Emergency crews were called around 3 p.m. to Gulliver’s Lake Park at 792 Safari Rd. The man was flown by air ambulance to Hamilton General Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Police said they are assisting the coroner’s office with the investigation.
