Public would support a price increase

The Hamilton Spectator - - COMMENT -

RE: Minimum wage debate

Once again the millionaires forget the workers who help make them rich. Instead the owners of the Tim Horton franchises punish their employees for making a living wage.

I read that the annual increase for a worker is about four per cent to the company. Instead of punishing their employees, why not increase the price of their products by this amount?

I cannot believe their customers wouldn’t mind the small increase to the cost of their coffee and doughnuts and thus support the workers who pour their coffee. Barry Kennington, Hamilton
