Hamiltonians are willing to help

RE: Random acts of kindness

I was riding passenger while driving downtown on New Year’s Eve when I saw a man with forearm crutches take a nasty fall right by a curb of the intersection at King and John. He was face first in the slush.

I could tell he could not get up without help. I felt helpless as I couldn’t help, but, I saw a number of people run out to him. They brushed him off and helped him regain his composure.

I am proud to live in a city that displays such acts of kindness and willingness to help. Let’s remember to always be kind and to help in 2018. Felicia Van Dyk, Hamilton
