FREELAND SPENDS DAY IN HAMILTON
Foreign Affairs Minister Chrystia Freeland arrives for a press scrum in the deodorizer room of Hamilton edible-oil producer Bunge during a tour on Thursday. Freeland visited the city to discuss the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) with industry representatives. She participated in a roundtable with the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce, steel producers and the Hamilton Port Authority, where she said she was “really inspired by the energy and the entrepreneurial spirit of Hamilton.” In the afternoon, Freeland toured the Bunge’s Burlington Street East facility.
