DO YOU WANT TO WIN NOW, OR IN THE FUTURE? CAN you do both? It’s a question that plagues real-life NHL GMs, and when you’re in a fantasy keeper league, it a ects you, too. It’s one thing to draft last year’s top point scorers, but it’s another thing entirely when you have to look years down the line as well. That 39-year-old superstar may help you this year, but in five years, will you be wishing you’d taken a chance on that 22-yearold kid instead? There’s a lot more to consider when there’s no expiration date on your league, which just adds to the challenge of building a successful, long-term team. Here is The Hockey News’ ranking of the top 25 players at each position for a draft at the start of a limitless keeper league. Ages are as of Oct. 1.
