IN THE CARDS
Tony McKegney was traded seven times and played for seven different teams in his NHL career, but neither of those are a record; Mike Sillinger holds the honor for both of those marks. However, McKegney does have the unofficial record for having the most hockey cards crudely altered to reflect his trades. His 1983-84, 1987-88 and 1989-90 cards all use close-up photos that have been hastily painted over with the colors of his new team. Amazingly, whoever touched up the photo on his Blues card overlooked the Rangers helmet sticker.
