Who will compete for the 2018 Memorial Cup? No harm projecting the field for the 100th edition

REGINA PATS (HOST)

No doubt the WHL’s Pats will add talent, but with Anaheim picks Sam Steel and Josh Mahura already in town, they’ve got a great head start. Jake Leschyshyn and Nick Henry will also take on meatier roles up front.

MISSISSAUGA STEELHEADS

Led by brothers Mikey and Ryan McLeod, the OHL’s Steelheads will feature a potent offense that also includes Owen Tippett. Goalie Jacob Ingham and D-man Nic Hague will also star for the squad.

BLAINVILLE-BOISBRIAND ARMADA

Should Pierre-Luc Dubois make the Columbus roster, the Armada might get passed in the QMJHL, but the team nevertheless will have a great veteran crew augmented by kids such as Joel Teasdale and Antoine Crete-Belzile.

KELOWNA ROCKETS

Calgary pick Dillon Dube is bound to have a big year in the WHL, and he will be ably supported by Foote brothers Cal and Nolan, not to mention an assortment of other weapons. Leading scorer Kole Lind returns as well.
