Learn to transition quickly from offense to defense with this player vs. player showdown drill

Place two pylons near top of circle about a foot apart. Coach dumps puck in corner, two players race to puck.

Player who gets puck tries to skate it though pylons; player without puck tries to protect the gate. If puck gets turned over, change roles.
