BROCK BOESER | RIBCOR TRIGGER² PMT
I USE THE CCM Ribcor, the new edition. I have what a lot of people call ‘The Kane Curve.’ I haven’t switched since peewee. It used to be called ‘The Lindros Curve,’ when it was with Bauer, but then I switched to CCM and I’ve kept the same curve. I’ve been using it forever, and I just change the flex. These days I’m using a 90 flex. I feel like I can handle the puck well with it, and shooting with it, my shot is really accurate. I tried switching flexes before on the stick, but I just felt like my shooting wasn’t the same, and I felt like it was taking longer to get my shot off. I like the flex I’m using now because it’s a nice quick snap. This curve, I’ve always felt most comfortable picking corners and picking spots. I’ve tried changing curves a few times just to see if my shot would be harder, and I can’t seem to pick corners. That’s the curve I’m sticking with for a while. When I was in the USHL we had to switch to CCM, and I tried switching back to Bauer, but it just didn’t feel the same. I don’t do that much with them, actually. I just tape up my knob and tape up the bottom of my stick, and if I don’t have to, I won’t tape it for practice.
