Charges in crashes

Two women have been charged fol­low­ing a pair of crashes in the city Tues­day. A 37-year-old woman was charged af­ter po­lice were called to a two-car crash on Moira Street West at Tripp Av­enue. One per­son was treated at the scene for mi­nor in­juries, po­lice re­port. The 37-year-old woman was charged with care­less driv­ing. Tues­day even­ing, just be­fore 6 p.m., a collision at the in­ter­sec­tion of By­ron and West streets re­sulted in a 56-year-old woman be­ing charged with fail­ing to stop at a stop sign. Both driv­ers in the collision sus­tained mi­nor in­juries but nei­ther re­quired med­i­cal at­ten­tion.
