Charges in crashes
Two women have been charged following a pair of crashes in the city Tuesday. A 37-year-old woman was charged after police were called to a two-car crash on Moira Street West at Tripp Avenue. One person was treated at the scene for minor injuries, police report. The 37-year-old woman was charged with careless driving. Tuesday evening, just before 6 p.m., a collision at the intersection of Byron and West streets resulted in a 56-year-old woman being charged with failing to stop at a stop sign. Both drivers in the collision sustained minor injuries but neither required medical attention.
