Without Wynne

The Intelligencer (Belleville) - - OPINION -

The short-memories of Ontarians, especially those in the GTA, is frightening. The last time they were ready to dump the scandal-ridden Liberals it simply dumped Dalton McGuinty, the author of this ill-fated deal and all was forgiven. This led to Ontarians rewarding Kathleen Wynne with a majority allowing her to run roughshod over this have-not province, now buried with a $12 billion deficit and $300 billion debt.

Wynne simply continued with McGuinty’s mismanagement of the hydro file, seeing Ontarians paying the highest priced electricity in North America. Now she has added a costly carbon tax. Canadian companies have fled to more ‘business friendly places’ and thousands of jobs have been lost.

Our ailing healthcare continues on life support and has gotten even worse under Wynne.

Yet, the simple idea many Ontarians could still ‘stomach’ one of the worst and most fiscally irresponsible governments in the history of Ontario, simply if Wynne is shown the door, is mindboggling. This is not down to just the leader of the Liberal government, but the incompetence and arrogance permeates the entire party.

Wake up Ontarians, enough is enough and give the Liberals the boot before it can further wreck Ontario. Larry Comeau Ottawa
